Good News!

Just a quick update about some happy news I have received recently:

I have an article on VIrginia Woolf’s final novel, Between the Acts, which will appear in the next few months in the Virginia Woolf Miscellany. I love Woolf’s work, and this is the first time I will have published on her dazzling contributions to modernism.

I have been cast in a production of Will Eno’s play “Middletown” which will be staged at the Palace Theatre in Faux-London, ON in September. I have several lovely roles in this episodic piece, including the narrator, an astronaut, a doctor, and a radio voice. I have worked with two of the actors in the cast before, in a production of John Mighton’s “Possible Worlds” in 2011, and I am very much looking forward to working with them and the rest of the cast and crew! John Gerry is directing.

I have also received news from a press that it is interested in considering a manuscript of my poems for publication. I can’t give any more details yet, but, as you can imagine, I am understandably excited about this turn of events.

Finally, I should mention that my conference paper on Sacheverell Sitwell and Gino Severini has been accepted as part of a panel at the Modernist Studies Association Annual Conference (the 17th!) to be held in Boston, MA later this year!

I should be back soon with another longer blog post, and yes, those images I keep promising you will finally be uploaded to my site!
